1000 anatomy sketches challenge
:new: The challenge ends in 2016

Hello and happy holidays everyone! :rudolph:
Since the new year is approaching rapidly, and my mind was on new years resolutions, i thought up a challenge for myself to improve my anatomy. And it would be boring to do it alone so i invite you all to join me. :la:
Here's how the challenge goes:
1. The goal is to reach 1000 anatomy related drawings as fast as possible. There is no deadline.
2. You don't have to
Hello, ~Lawli-Art (https://www.deviantart.com/lawli-art) here! This year, Rising-Artists (https://www.deviantart.com/rising-artists) will be celebrating the holiday season with another Secret Santa Event!
What's a Secret Santa Event?
Secret Santa is when you receive a present from a mysterious "Santa" and give your own present to another unsuspecting person on Christmas! It's somewhat skin to a blind art trade. As always, people will be loosely assorted into a spectrum of skill levels, so there's no worries about receiving subpar gifts.
Guidelines:
How to Participate:
Join the group (if you haven't already) and either comment on this journal, send a note to Lawli-Art (https://www.deviantart.com/lawli-art), or send a group note by November 10th,

In 1996, a couple of years before the rise of Pokémon in the United States, an animated television series that had been in syndication in Japan since 1989 made its U.S. debut.
Eventually the show was dubbed into multiple languages and aired in many countries across the globe. It went on to become one of the most recognizable cultural fixtures in T

deviantART was on TV + join the art challenge!
A long time ago (about 24 hours), in a galaxy far, far away (down the road in Hollywood), comedian and television host Chris Hardwick introduced a segment on his late-night Comedy Central show — aptly titled midnight (https://www.deviantart.com/midnight) (get it?) — that got many of us at deviantART all aflutter.
First of all, if you love the Internets and you haven't seen midnight (https://www.deviantart.com/midnight) yet, you're missing out on some serious lulz. A few nights a week, Hardwick invites some comedian pals on the show for some Geek-Centric Improv Comedy. Sort of like a British Quiz Show brought to you by Reddit. Or "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" with slightly less dancing, but an equal amount
It's back! With the goal of bringing a little cheer to patients in the hospital during the holiday season, the deviantART Holiday Card Project connects deviants from around the world and applies their tremendous artistic abilities in designing and creating uplifting holiday cards.
In past years, the Project has received more than 5,000 cards sent in by more than 1,000 deviants from 50 different countries/political regions. Cards were then divvied up and distributed in-person by deviantART members to local Los Angeles, CA hospitals, with additional cards given to various hospitals in the U.S. and abroad for hospital staff members to hand out

We Are All The Same But Different
We are all the same, but have different situation
We always judge other people, but we don't look at ourselves first
We always think that we're right, but we're wrong
We don't like to admit what's wrong with us, but we always like to point out somebody's mistakes
We don't like to receive the treatment that we don't want, but we treat others badly
We are all prone to sins, but some are able to control to avoid committing sins
We all have hearts, but some hearts are corrupted
We are all the same, but different
I'm sorry for the confusing poem/thoughts/whatever
I'm sorry for this drama, some people are tired of reading someone's sufferi
HOW TO: Order a commission. by jadecillustrations, journal
HOW TO: Order a commission.
*I feel like this needs to be shared more around the forums lately *sigh**
Let’s talk about ordering a commission with money on deviantART.
Ordering a commission on deviantART on the job forums? Some of this can also apply for personal commissions.
Here are the basics.
1) Know what you want.
Have an idea of what you’d like your outcome of your project to look like. Find examples, but know that the artist you are hiring will most likely be drawing in their own style so don’t expect something to look just like your example. We are artists. We promote creativity, not copying others’ styles.
2) Fill out a basic
